HOUSTON, TX - PM Realty Group (PMRG), a national, full-service commercial real estate firm, today announced that Ben Appleby has joined the Company's Dallas area operations. Mr. Appleby joins as vice president and will be responsible for leasing PMRG's existing office product as well as growing the leasing portfolio in the Dallas / Ft Worth market.
Prior to joining PMRG, Mr. Appleby led Duke Realty Corporation's office leasing and development efforts where he was involved in over 1.75 million square feet of transactions from 2003 to 2009. His recent accomplishments include negotiating 240,000 square feet for T-Mobile's regional headquarters, 182,700 square feet for American Home Mortgage Servicing corporate headquarters and 100,000 square feet for MedAssets corporate headquarters.

Mr. Appleby holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Oklahoma and is a member of the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (NTCAR), the NTCAR Reunion and Hall of Fame Committee, the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), The Real Estate Council (TREC), served as Chairman of the NTCAR Young Professional Forum and has held a NTCAR Board of Director position. In 2009, Appleby was awarded the NTCAR Young Citizen Award, designed to recognize an outstanding young professional who has worked through participation, volunteerism and charity to contribute to the betterment of the commercial real estate community and society as a whole. He has been listed by both the Dallas Business Journal as a "Heavy Hitter" and by Black's Guide on its "35 Under 35" list multiple times in his career.
