Firm also is pre-leasing space for a new office building next door
ATLANTA, GA - PM Realty Group has been selected to provide leasing services for 6200 The Corners Parkway, a six-story office building in Norcross, and to pre-lease space in a new building that will be erected adjacent to it.

Wells Real Estate Investment Trust hired PM Realty Group to lease the 145,000-square-foot building at 6200 The Corners Parkway, said Bill Weghorst, senior vice president and director of PM Realty's Atlanta Region. Wells, which has its headquarters in the building, acquired the property in December.

Wells plans to start construction of the new 145,000-square-foot building as soon as it pre-leases about 50 percent of the space.

"The versatility of 6200 The Corners Parkway's location in Peachtree Corners makes it an ideal location for a headquarters operation such as Wells and for other emerging companies," Weghorst said.

Wells occupies more than 138,000 square feet in 6200 The Corners Parkway, which is part of The Corners Office Park.

"Acquiring the building fit our investment strategy of buying well-located buildings leased to one or two creditworthy tenants," said Joe Oglesby, senior vice president of investment at Wells.
"Now the time is right to develop an office building that mirrors 6200," Oglesby said. "We have confidence that PM Realty Group will help us land a lead tenant for the project."
