Doug Demiano is the Senior Vice President, Senior Director of Development for Madison Marquette. Prior to the June 2018 merger of PMRG and Madison Marquette, Mr. Demiano served as Senior Vice President of Development and Acquisitions. During his tenure at PMRG, Mr. Demiano oversaw more than $550 million in office building and mixed-use development projects. He manages the Houston development project team and works with the acquisitions team on underwriting and financial analysis of development projects.
Mr. Demiano brings more than 25 years of industry experience involving commercial, mixed-use, industrial and healthcare real estate markets. His expertise includes all aspects of leasing, site acquisitions, development, financial analysis, and property/facilities management.
Prior to joining PMRG, Mr. Demiano served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Real Estate for Amegy Bank of Texas (an affiliate of Zions Bancorporation). He was responsible for acquisitions, banking center distribution strategy and corporate office development for Amegy’s real estate portfolio, which totaled over one million square feet. He also worked with the bank’s REO group in repositioning assets and taking them to market for disposition.
Mr. Demiano holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University and a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Houston. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the state of Texas and is a member of the Building Owners and Manager Association (BOMA) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). He has also served on several Hospital System advisory boards within the state of Texas.
As President of PMRG’s Central Division, Wade Bowlin is responsible for all aspects of the division’s operations, including providing critical support for leasing, property and construction management initiatives as well as new business development and client relations for PMRG’s portfolio of office, retail, medical and industrial properties; a portfolio that totals over 65 million square feet.
Mr. Bowlin brings more than 30 years of experience in real estate with the last 25 years involved in the Houston Market. He has been responsible for the lease negotiation of many large transactions of over 100,000 square feet such as Shell Oil Company, Jacobs Engineering, EPCO, Conoco Phillips, BP Amoco, Litton Loan Servicing, Burlington Resources, CAL-Dive, Sasol, NRG and STM Mortgage to name a few. Mr. Bowlin has personally averaged over 60 lease transactions per year for every year he has been in commercial real estate.
Mr. Bowlin has been named a “Power Broker” by the CoStar Group over the past several years and one of Houston’s “Heavy Hitter’s” by the Houston Business Journal since its inception. In 2015, Mr. Bowlin was named the top office landlord broker by the Houston Business Journal.
Mr. Bowlin is a graduate of Texas Tech University and is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), and the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
As President of PMRG’s Western Division, Jim Proehl is responsible for managing a portfolio of over 25 million square feet in 11 western states with a staff of over 225 real estate professionals. Mr. Proehl's success with coordinating the repositioning of numerous projects and transitioning large multi-building portfolios in his 19 years with PMRG has helped fuel the growth of the Western Division.
Mr. Proehl brings more than 30 years of diversified real estate experience in asset management, development, finance and property management. Prior to joining PMRG, Mr. Proehl held the position of Development Manager for Tooley & Company where he managed the development of two high-rise Class A office buildings, each in excess of 400,000 square feet. As a Senior Asset Manager with Metropolitan Life, Mr. Proehl managed a Colorado and Kansas commercial real estate portfolio valued at over $300 million, including office buildings, hotels and retail centers. Mr. Proehl began his real estate career at Williams Realty Corporation, where he was an Associate Development Director with responsibilities for coordinating the legal, planning, financial, design and construction management for two mixed-use projects in Kansas City and San Antonio. In addition to his development experience at Williams, Mr. Proehl gained a thorough understanding of the financial reporting requirements of working for a publicly traded company.
Mr. Proehl holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Tulsa with an emphasis in real estate and a bachelor’s degree from Southeast Missouri State University.
As President of PMRG's Eastern Division, Bill Weghorst oversees long term strategies for the entire East Coast portfolio and is responsible for leasing prominent Atlanta landmarks as One Glenlake, Powers Ferry Landing, 999 Peachtree, The Fountains at Piedmont Center, and Northridge Center.
Mr. Weghorst brings more than 25 years of office leasing experience in the Atlanta market. He has completed more than 1,000 lease transactions totaling in excess of 6.0 million square feet and with an aggregate dollar value of more than $600 million.
Prior to joining PMRG, Mr. Weghorst was Senior Vice President of Asset Services at CB Richard Ellis, where he was responsible for the marketing and leasing of approximately 4.5 million square feet of office space throughout Atlanta. His portfolio included major urban high-rise towers and multi-building suburban mid-rise developments.
Mr. Weghorst served as Senior Managing Director for Insignia/ESG prior to the firm's merger with CBRE. During his tenure with Insignia/ESG, he gained recognition as one of the city's most creative and aggressive third-party leasing agents.
During his career, Mr. Weghorst has leased many prominent Atlanta office properties including Bank of America Plaza, Centennial Tower, The Plaza, Lakeside Commons, RiverEdge Place and 2100 RiverEdge, Piedmont Center Building 14, Northlake Office Park, Tower Place 100 and 200, One Georgia Center, Cumberland Office Park, 1117 Perimeter Center West, Crescent Centre, and the Peachtree Lenox Building.
Mr. Weghorst has been recognized numerous times over the years for his leasing achievements. He has also received the 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 “Power Broker Award” by CoStar Group, which recognizes Atlanta's top brokers based on leasing activity for the year. He is an active member of the Commercial Board of Realtors and the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP), where he was a charter member of the Million Dollar Club. He also sits on the Advisory Board for CoStar and is an honorary member of the Georgia State University Real Estate Honorary Board.
As Vice President, Director of the Healthcare Advisory Group, Pamela Perkins is responsible for the leasing efforts of PM Realty Group’s (PMRG) medical office portfolio. Ms. Perkins is additionally responsible for the marketing and pre-leasing efforts for all proposed medical office developments.
With over 20 years in the real estate industry in the DFW Metroplex, Pamela is a respected leasing professional in both the medical and commercial office space arena. Viewed by her peers as an expert in the field of medical office leasing, Ms. Perkins has been invited as a guest speaker at both the Interface Medical Real Estate Conference and the Bisnow Healthcare Real Estate Summit.
Prior to joining PMRG, Ms. Perkins was an Officer and Associate Vice President for a publicly-traded Real Estate Investment Trust with a $3.2 billion portfolio consisting primarily of medical office buildings. In this capacity, she was responsible for and directed the leasing efforts of the company’s medical office portfolio, representing over 2.5 million square feet throughout the Metroplex. Additional responsibilities included the marketing and budgeting process for the REIT’s 25 MOB’s included in her DFW portfolio.
During her medical leasing tenure, Pamela has leased or directed the successful execution of over 850 new and renewal lease transactions totaling over 6 million square feet.
Ms. Perkins holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism / Public Relations from Texas A&M University-Commerce. She is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson, a member of the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (NTCAR) and a CCIM candidate.
